The 7-Day Nervous System Reset Journal

Understanding regulation feels good for about a day. Practicing it moves your baseline. This is seven days of structure: under five minutes each morning, under five each night, built around the same five levers I teach in the clinic.

Digital download. Educational tool, not a treatment plan or a substitute for care.

The arc

What each day asks of you

One lever at a time, then two days of putting it together. Nothing gets added until the day before has somewhere to land.

Day 1 · Light

Anchor the clock

Get outside light early, log the time, note tonight's sleep onset. You'll have your first data point by tomorrow morning.

Day 2 · Breath

Find your exhale

Learn the ratio, use it twice on purpose, and rate your body before and after. This is the page people photograph.

Day 3 · Minerals

Check the floor

A short intake audit (magnesium, protein, hydration, caffeine timing) plus a prompt list to bring to your own prescriber.

Day 4 · Pause

Catch one reaction

Log a single moment where you widened the gap. One is enough. The point is proving to yourself the gap exists.

Day 5 · Awareness

Name the pattern

Trigger, body signal, story, what actually happened. Four columns that make vague anxiety specific enough to work with.

Day 6 · Stack

Run all five

One full day using the whole framework, with a realistic version for when the day goes sideways. Because it will.

Day 7 · Review

Your baseline snapshot

Compare day 1 to day 7 across sleep, reactivity, and body signals, then choose the one reset you're keeping for the next month.

What you get

Every page has a job

  • Morning check-in — sleep, body signal, capacity for the day, in three taps
  • Daily reset practice — one lever, with the how and the why on the page
  • Trigger & pattern tracker — the four-column log I use with patients
  • Evening reflection — two prompts, no journaling marathon required
  • Progress snapshot — day 1 versus day 7, side by side
  • Two formats — print it, or fill it on your tablet or phone
Seven days won't rewire you. It will show you which lever your body responds to, and that is the part nobody tells you.

Seven dollars. That's the whole pitch.

Fair questions

How much time does this actually take?

Under five minutes in the morning, under five at night. If it takes longer than that, I designed it wrong.

Do I need the free guide first?

No, but it helps. The guide explains the five tools; the journal makes you use them. Most people do the guide, wait a week, then come back.

Is this therapy?

No. It's a structured self-tracking tool for education and pattern awareness. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or replace working with a clinician.

What if I miss a day?

Pick up where you left off. There's a page in the journal specifically about this, because missing a day is the most predictable thing that will happen.

Can I reuse it?

Yes, that's the point. Reprint it monthly, or run it again any time your baseline slides. The tracker alone is worth repeating.

Start tomorrow morning

Download it tonight, do day one with your coffee, and have your first real data point by Friday.
